Ghanaian forward Lawson Bekui continues with his sparkling form abroad after scoring on his Politehnica IaÈ™i debut in their 3-0 thrashing of Concordia in the Romania League.

The former Dreams FC striker was playing his first match for the Romanian club following his arrival from Oman club Dhofar, a club he joined in 2016 from Dreams FC.

The strong forward came on in the 74th minute and had a great influence in the game as he needed only 14 minutes to make an impact with his 88th minute strike that put a gloss over the much needed win.

Politehnica had made a  difficult start to their league campaign with just one win in as many games prior to Monday’s clash against Concordia.

The win thus pulls them from last but one in the Liga 1 to 11th.

Bekui’s debut goal follows that of his compatriot George Dwubeng who scored for the same club in his first official game with the U19’s on Sunday.
