Ghanaian forward Mohammed Naeem scores 11th goal in 11th league game for Sandviken in Sweden

Ghanaian forward Mohammed Abu Naeem continued with his scintillating form in the Swedish Ettan Norra when Sandviken IF drew with Gefle IF on Saturday.

Naeem scored one of the goals for Sandviken who were held to a 2-2 by Gefle as they extended their unbeaten streak to ten matches at the Jernvallens Arena.

Midfielder Daniel Soderberg opened the scoring of the local derby after putting Sandviken ahead in the 20th minute through a header following a corner kick.

Gefle drew level on the hour mark through youngster Oskar Karlsson before Leo Egland scored nine minutes later to put the visitors in front.

The 25-year-old Ghanaian scored to put the game at level pegging with six minutes to full-time as Sandviken remain top of the league standings after 11 rounds.

Naeem has now scored 11 goals in 11 matches for Sandviken in the Swedish third-tier with their promotion bid right on the track.

Ghanaian compatriots Mohammed Abubakari Sadat and Kofi Asare also featured for Sandviken.
