Ghanaian forward Said Ahmed completes move to Romanian side ACSC FC Arges

Ghanaian forward Said Ahmed has joined Romanian club FC Arges in the summer transfer window. 

The 28-year-old signed a year deal with the option of extending for a further season.

The Ghanaian-born Italian moves to the Romanian league after parting was with Portuguese outfit Rio Ave.

"I want to thank the board and the president for the opportunity and I hope everything will be okay here," he said at his presentation.

"I chose the club because they gave me big opportunity. In the last years I have not played a lot of matches so I am here to help as they help me," he added.

The former Hadjuk Split attacker has history against Romanian clubs, scoring twice in two matches against team from the European nation.

"I have good statics in Romania, I have scored two goals in two matches against Yashin and Steau Bucharesti," he said.

The former Italy Youth international previously played for Inter Milan, Monza, Chievo Verona, Olhanense, Rio Ave and Lokeren,
