Ghanaian forward Samuel Obeng returned from suspension as Real Oviedo drew with Sporting Gijon.
The derby ended in a stalemate at Carlos Tartiere Stadium in Oviedo after Gijon equalised seven minutes to full time.
Real Oviedo had taken the lead through Lucas Ahijado and looked on course for victory.
Although disappointed, Oviedo were happy to have their livewire Obeng back after being suspended for the previous game.
Obeng has scored three goals in eight games.
