Young Ghanaian forward Solomon Kessi made his RC Lens U19 debut in a 2-2 draw with Lille.

The 18-year-old joined the French side on a one-year deal with the option from Ghanaian side Soccer Bridge Academy in August.

He started his first match with Lens on September 4 against Amiens (2-1 defeat). He then appeared on the bench in the last Under-19 derby between Lille and Lens.

For the U19 team, Kessi came into play in the 57th to replace Hervé Boua Die.

And more recently, he took part in the friendly match organized in Billy-Montigny between the Lensoise reserve and Olympic Charleroi.

Entering the second half, the Ghanaian was close to finding the net on several occasions.

His teammates often threw him deeply. His burst of speed as well as his percussion suggest great things for weeks to come.

He also showed he was capable of taking down his defender before quickly getting into a striking position.

Kessi will soon join the reserve to show himself in the French National 3.
