Ghana international goalkeeper Razak Abalora has shared his excitement after inspiring AF Elbasani to victory over Bylis in the Albian top-flight.
Abalora, who recently won the Moldovan league title with CS Petrocub played a pivotal role to lead his outfit secure an important away win over their opponent on Sunday.
The first half of the thrilling encounter ended in a stalemate, as both teams struggled to find the back of the net.
However, the lone goal of the game, scored by Arsen Lleshi in the 76th-minute mark secured maximum points for the visitors.
After the game, the former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper took to social media to celebrate his clean sheet and the club’s victory at large.
“Happy away win. Plus three points and Clean sheet” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The 28-year-old Ghanaian shot stopper has made three appearances since joining the club in the summer, keeping two clean sheet and conceding just a goal across the period.
Abalora will be hoping to maintain his fine start to life in the Albanian top-flight this season.
Since departing Kotoko, the highly-rated goalkeeper has featured for a host of clubs in Europe, including Sheriff Tiraspol, and CS Petrocub.
