Ghanaian midfielder Amidu Salifu to leave Fiorentina after 9 years

Ghanaian midfielder Amidu Salifu will leave Fiorentina at the end of the season after nine years with the Florence based club. 

Salifu joined Fiorentina at the age of 19 but has spent most of his time away from the club, playing on loan at lower tier sides.

His current deal at the club ends on June 30, 2020 with the club ready to let him leave on a free transfer.

Salifu is on-loan at Kuwaiti topflight side Al Salmiya.

He has also spent time on loan at Catania, Perugia, Modena, Brescia, Mantova, Vicenza and Arezzo.
