Italian lower-tier side Carrarese Calcio 1908 have extended the contract of Ghanaian midfielder Daniel Kofi Agyei ahead of the upcoming season.
Agyei has been a key cog for the Serie C outfit since joining from Benevento Calcio in 2017.
The Labadi-born midfielder churned out 25 appearances for the Gialloblu as Silvio Baldin's charges finished 2nd on the league standings in the regular season.
The player has however been missing from Carrarese's pre-season training due to an injury he picked up last term.
Despite his predicament, Carrarese have handed him a new two-year contract extension ahead of the start of next season.
His contract renewal was made official on Wednesday, September 2.
Agyei becomes the fifth player to pen a new contract at the club alongside Elio Calderini, Giovanni Foresta, Guido Pulidori and Michele Murolo.
