It`s a privilege for me Derrick Mensah to have this chance to inform you about what is going in and around our training camp all the way from the beautiful Andalusia city Malaga, Estepona to be precise.

This blog will cover the 7th( sunday) and the 8th(monday) day's of our training camp.

We were blessed to wake up looking and feeling fresh sunday morning after we have had a day off. As usual we were expecting a hectic and a difficult training session on sunday and the coaches did not disappoint.

It was a two training session day and both training were all football sessions. The morning was more hectic as we did a lot of ball works.

We went through the team shaping and our tactical play. The session was ended with a 9 v 9 game in which we were able to showcase all that we have learnt.

We continued in the afternoon, but this time the training was based on technique as the coaches took us through some techniques in shooting, defending and scoring.

As usual lessons were learnt and some vital informations were passed on to us from our brilliant coaching staff.

We continued with the training the next day, A two training session day again. (A conditioning day as the coaches called it)

We had football sessions in the morning and gym work in the afternoon.

The morning was hectic as it was based on conditioning.

We had some 1 v 1, 2 v 2's etc but then there was this hectic one were we had a 7 v 7 three team game on almost a full pitch.

Unfortunately I was on the loosing side us my team came out last but the most important thing was how persisting and persevering every team was, how every team was fighting to win every game and the desire to turn the "can'ts into cans".

The gym work followed after some hours of rest and of course food.

It was a leg day at the gym and basically focused on strength.

That was how we feared through this two days. It has been good so far and I'm happy to be part of this great group. Our training sessions epitomises our ambitions and with the togetherness, friendly atmosphere we found ourselves in and our hard work, we know our ambitions are not far to be achieved.

As the saying goes 'HARD WORK PAYS'

Hola desde españa, Hasta luego

Derrick
