Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Boateng signs for Swedish Allsvenskan side Elfsborg

Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Boateng has signed a four-year contract with 6 time Swedish champions IF Elfsborg, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

Boateng has already completed his medical examination and the contract has also been signed.

The midfielder’s visa and work permit is being processed after which the move would be made official.

The 24-year-old is joining the Swedish Allsvenskan side from Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv where he had an impressive campaign last season.

Boateng made 28 appearances in all competitions for Tel Aviv and scored one goal in the process.

The WAFA SC graduate moved to Israel in September 2018 joining Tel Aviv from Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars.
