Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey to stay at Extremadura UD amid Córdoba interest

Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey will not leave Extremadura UD amid mounting interest from Córdoba CF.

The 22-year-old has been a subject of intense from the Spanish second-tier side in the January transfer window.

However, Extremadura UD has ruled out selling the Ghanaian in the ongoing winter transfer window.

Lomotey has become an important player for coach Manuel Mosquera's side this season.

He has started in the last five matches, impressing heavily in the process.

The club has decided against sending him on a loan expedition or selling him outright as he has become a key player for the team.

Córdoba's interested in the midfielder is well documented after Blanquiverde made attempt to sign him in the summer of 2018.
