Cypriot giants AEL Limassol have brought in Ghanaian player Emmanuel Toku on a one year loan from OH Leuven, the club announced on Friday.
Toku 24 year old midfielder born on July 10, 2000, brings a lot of experience and quality to the team.
Toku has played for various clubs before. 39 matches for Fremad Amager in Denmark and 70 matches for Botev Plovdiv in Bulgaria after leaving Cheetah FC in Ghana.
His good performances led to his move to Leuven in January 2023 from Plovdiv.
Toku spent last season on loan with Aalborg BK in Denmark, where he played 17 matches and helped the team get promoted to the top flight.
Toku has played for both Ghana U17 and U20 national teams, including the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup in India.
Despite his good performances, Aalborg declined to sign Toku on a permanent deal, and he went back to Leuven.
Leuven have now allowed him to join AEL on a one year loan.
