Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Twum completes move to Norwegian side Mjondalen

Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Twum has completed his move to Mjondalen from fellow Norwegian top-flight club IK Start.

The transfer was confirmed on Thursday after, Ghanasoccernet.com had earlier exclusively reported that he was close to joining the club.

The former Inter Allies star has left IK Start, with his contract due to expire in three months.

The 22-year-old has signed an agreement with Mjondalen until 2022.

"We are very happy to bring in an Isaac in front of an important season sprint. There are 12 matches left and we will do our utmost to have an Elite Series game again in 2021 at Consto Arena.

Isaac brings us quality in central midfield and is a player we think can be both an important player for Mjøndalen, but also good enough for major leagues. He is still young and hungry and fits in well with both our short and long perspective," says sports manager in MIF Football, André Nevstad.
