Ghanaian midfielder Jonathan Opoku Agyeman set to leave Dutch side VVV Venlo

Jonathan Opoku Agyeman is set to leave Dutch side VVV Venlo when his contract with the Eredivisie side expires this summer. 

The Dutch-born Ghanaian has impressed for the side  this season.

But the 30-year-old wants to seek a new challenge elsewhere despite impressing in a decade in the Dutch top-flight.

He joined VV Venlo from Oss five years ago, contributing 37 goals and providing two assists - the highest for a midfielder in the club's history.

Born to a Ghanaian father and a Dutch mother, Opoku Agyeman scored  six goals and provided three assists in just ended season.

He hold dual passport but has not represented both the Netherlands and Ghana at the international level.

He will not be short of offers with Sparta Rotterdam and Heracles Almlo believed to be interested.
