Lawson Sabah has left his club to go on loan

Ghanaian midfielder Lawson Sabah has joined Swedish side Vasteras on loan from rivals AFC Eskilstuna, Ghanasoccernet.com can reveal.

IFK Gothenburg's former talent Lawson Sabah left AFC Eskilstuna last night as he goes on  loan to their competitor.

The 24-year-old midfielder is loaned out to league rivalVasteras for the rest of the season.

"AFC Eskilstuna has agreed on a loan of Lawson Sabah to Vasteras SK for the rest of the season," Eskilstuna said in a statement on Wednesday night.

"Lawson, who belonged to IFK Gothenburg and came to AFC from Linkoping before the season, wants more playing time and we wish him luck in VSK.

"Thank you for this time and we say welcome back to the 2022 season!"

Sabah has only played five matches in the Superettan this season, one of which from the start.

Ghana, who has a contract over 2022, has previously belonged to the all-Swedish big club IFK Gothenburg.
