Ghanaian midfielder Moses Odjer suspended in Italy

Ghanaian midfielder Moses Odjer has been banned for three matches after picking up a straight red card in an Italian Serie C match last weekend.

Odjer during his side Parlemo FC 3-1 win over Campobasso was guilty of unsportsmanlike conduct towards an opposing player.

The former Tema Youth midfielder injured his opponent with a dangerous tackle that led resulted in a red card.

He has also been fined 500 euros by the league's disciplinary committee.

Odjer will miss Parlemo's next three games starting this weekend against Turris away from home.

He will be expected back in action on October 20 when Parlemo host Virtus Francavilla.
