Ghanaian players in Kuwait set to be evacuated to native country

Ghanaian players in Kuwait are set to leave for their native country as officials set an evacuation plan in motion.

Defender Rashid Sumaila as well as Nicholas Coffie and Vincent Atinga among several others are expected to arrive in Ghana in the coming days.

The Ghanaian government is evacuating their national in the country amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The players are expected to come back home to be with their families after a lockdown in the country prevented them from flying back home.
