Ghanaian players in the Bundesliga set to return to action on May 9

Ghanaian players in the Bundesliga will return to action on May 9th, after the German FA and the DFL came out with a strategy to continue the season amid the coronavirus crisis. 

Football and many other sporting activities have been brought to a halt due to the pandemic, however with measured control systems in place, the Bundesliga is set for an early return.

The Ghanaian quartet at Fortuna Dusseldorf which includes Kassim Nuhu Adams, Kelvin Ofori, Bernard Tekpetey and Kelvin Ofori have all returned to training.

FC Paderborn's Christopher Antwi Adjei is also expected to return to action when the league resumes.

There are nine matches remaining in the Bundesliga, and games are expected to be played behind closed doors with a maximum of only 300 people in the stadium including only four policemen, 10 journalists, four ball boys, eight groundsmen and 50 security staff.

The German topflight is expected to complete in the middle of June, where as other countries like England are looking at resuming in June.
