Four Ghanaian referees handed double CAF assignments

Ghanaian referee quartet will be in charge of this weekend’s World Cup qualifier between DR Congo and Libya in  Kinshasa.

FIFA referee William Agbovi will be the centre man and will be assisted by compatriots AS Malik and David Laryea on the lines.

Fellow countryman Cecil Fleischer will act as the fourth official.

The four Ghanaian referees will also handle the CAF Champions League last 16 second leg fixture involving Djoliba and St George in two weeks time.

In a move that will excites many local fans, another Ghanaian quartet- Thomas Nunoo, Leonard Armah, Ibrahim Badiu and Seidu Bomison have been selected to handle the CAF Confederation Cup tie between Gamtel and C.S.S.

The Confederation of African Football overlooked the West African country’s referees in the ongoing African Youth Championship in Algeria.
