Ghanaian Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer scored in his first appearance for the Germany U20 team on Thursday.

The Berlin-born forward who has a Ghanaian father, netted the decisive goal as Germany beat France 3-2 in a thrilling friendly match.

France raced into the lead but Germany fought back and drew level before going ahead in the 53rd minute.

The home team equalised again in the 77th minute. Substitute Königsdörffer grabbed the winner six minutes to full time.

The  Dynamo Dresden player was making his international debut in the U20 age group. He has already completed a mission for the U21s.

So far, the 20-year-old has only provided two assists in 14 games but has not yet been able to add himself to the list of goal scorers.

He looked even more efficient in Dynamo last season, contributing eight goals and four assists.
