Ghanaian scores on Nigeria Premier League debut

Ghanaian midfielder Siedu Abuu scored on his debut in the Nigerian top flight on Sunday for Dolphins.

His goal ensured table-topping Gombe United dropped the maximum points in a 2-1 defeat.

"My manager brought me to Dolphins and the coach liked my game. It's good to score on my debut in Nigeria and I hope to make the best of the opportunities here," he told Supersport

"Dolphins have made a strong impact in Nigeria as champions. It's a big club."

Abuu is the second Ghanaian player at Dolphins after Owusu Addae at the Port Harcourt side.

He has also played on loan at Ghanaian sides Wa All Stars, Bofoakwa Tano and Great Olympics, as well as Israeli side, Ironi Ashdod.
