Inter Milan's Ghanaian youth defender Isaac Donkor says he is in no rush to break into Andrea Stramaccioni's first team squad despite making a Europa League appearance.

The Kumasi-born, 17, came off the bench substitute bench to play 17 minutes for Inter Milan in their 3-0 defeat against Russian side Rubin Kazan' last November and was also an unused substitute in the 2-2 draw with Neftçi in early December.

Donkor has however been limited to Daniele Bernazzani's Primavera squad where he is playing in the NextGens Series for the Nerazzuris.

He says he wants to gradually bid his time to break into the Inter first team squad.

"There's no need to rush because I'm still young and I have a lot to learn. Though I have played for the first team already, I think I have to take my time," he exclusively told Ghanasoccernet.com.

Donkor has already declared his interest in play for the Ghana U20.
