Ghanaian youngster Richard Akonnor is training with the first team of Al-Jazira FC ahead of the start of the UAE Pro League next month.
The 16-year old Liberty Professionals Academy graduate joined the Abu Dhabi based club earlier this year to continue his football development.
The talented starlet is making rapid progress and that has seen him train with the first team.
Akonnor was drafted into the first team training regime few weeks ago and will be hoping to impress manager Marcel Keizer ahead of the new season which starts in September.
The 2020/2021 UAE Pro League season begins on 9 September 2020.
Akonnor is expected to see much playing time in the U21 Arabian Gulf League.
