Ghanaian players are expected to dominate the headlines on Tuesday night and perpetuate it on Wednesday as the Uefa Champions League returns. 

Juventus are targeting the last eight as a minimum for Juventus, according to manager Massimiliano Allegri but they have a cause to wary as they face Swedish side Malmo FF at the Juventus Arena.

According to Uefa's technical watchers, Allegri is expected to start Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah ahead of France's Patrice Evra as he hopes to navigate victory on home grounds. Enoch Adu Kofi, 24, is sure start in midfield for Malmo and will clash with Asamoah in the middle.

American-born Ghanaian Joe Gyau, who made the Borussia Dortmund squad for their weekend triumph over Freiburg will be hoping to maintain his place in his first team squad as they take on Arsenal.

Winger Frank Acheampong will be hoping to translate his swashbuckling form which saw him score over the weekend for Anderlecht at Lierse SK in a 2-2 draw. Anderlecht make a trip to Turkey to take on Cesare Prandelli's Galatasaray side.

German-born Ghanaian attacker Karim Bellarabi is expected to lead the charge for Bundesliga giants Bayer Leverkusen 04 as they play away to France's AS Monaco on Tuesday at the Stade Louis II.

On Wednesday, suspended Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is in Schalke 04 squad that is travelling to the Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea.

Ajax Amsterdam manager Frank de Boer is expected to name Dutch-born Ghana youth defender Kenny Tete in his squad to face Paris Saint-Germain.
