Ghanaian striker John Antwi took his season's tally to eight goals after scoring the second goal to help Ismaily cruise to a 2-0 win over Al Masry in the Egyptian Premier League on Saturday night.

The 21-year-old firmly put the game beyond the visitors with a 78th minute strike at the Ismaïlia Stadium.

Ivorian striker Kofffi Mechac raced to hammer home a rebound in the 38th minute to hand the home side the lead before Antwi cemented the victory for his side.

Egyptian midfielder Saleh Mousa provided a through-pass for Antwi with a tailored pass and the former IX Wise striker raced to gracefully and firmly plant the ball beyond the on-rushing Masry keeper.

The striker has now taken his season's tally to 8 goals, scoring in all goals in his last seven games in the top-flight and tops the goal-king chart.
