Inter Milan manager Walter Mazzarri has given a strong indication he could hand a debut to Ghanaian teenage striker Samuel Appiah after inviting him over to train with his first team squad during the international break.
Samuel Appiah runs with the groupThe 17-year-old goal-wizard left the Inter Primavera squad joined the big-named stars at Inter's Appiano Gentile and started his first training sessions with the first team squad on Tuesday afternoon along with defender Isaac Donkor, who has already marked his senior debut at the club.
Samuel Appiah showing gross enthusiasm at trainingAppiah joined Inter in 2011 aged 14, from non-league side ASDC Fiume Veneto-Bannia, and his performance has been on the rise, scoring incredible goals from U15 up to the level of the Primavera.
Walter Mazzarri issuing instructions during training while Ghanaian Isaac Donkor stands behind himWhile the young striker was getting his debut appearances at training sessions with the first team, defender Isaac Donkor, 19, has been around the first team since the era of Andrea Stramaccioni and has already debuted in both the Serie A and the Uefa Europa League for the club.
Isaac Donkor goes into a challenge during trainingDonkor, who is the oldest of the Ghanaian youngsters at the club, has already declared his intentions of playing for the Ghana U20 side while Appiah has been pursuing his Ghana dreams since 2012.
Inter have also recruited another Ghanaian youth defender Bright Gyamfi from a non-league side and he has began his life at the club with the Primavera side.
