Ghanaian striker Basit Umar scores in Ankaraspor away draw in Turkey

Ghanaian youngster Basit Abdulrahman Umar netted his second goal of the season for Ankaraspor in their away draw on Monday in the TFF 1 League.

Ankaraspor threw away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Balıkesirspor at the Balıkesir Ataturk Stadium.

The former Ghana U20 striker opened the scoring of the match in the 30th minute with a fine finish.

Nigerian striker Sikiru Olatunbosun added the second a minute from recess.

The home levelled the scoreline through an own goal by Ercan Yazici and a goal from Abdul Ozgen in the 51st and 88th minutes.

Umar has now made 17 appearances for Ankaraspor in the Turkish second-tier and has two goals.
