Former Asante Kotoko striker Ben Acheampong has had his contract abrogated by Egyptian giants Zamalek, Ghanasoccernet.com can confirm.
This was after a meeting between the player's agent Wael Al Kharbtawi and officials of the club on Monday.
Acheampong will be paid all entitlements due him by the club.
Since signing for Zamalek, the 27-year-old striker has scored 2 goals in 6 matches in the Egyptian Premier League.
The Ghanaian attacker is currently on loan at El-Geish for the upcoming season.
