Ghanaian striker Benjamin Tetteh scored for Sparta Prague in their 5-0 win over Banik Ostrava in the quarter finals of the Czech Republic Cup on Wednesday.

Tetteh was guilty of wastefulness in Sparta Prague’s shock 2-2 stalemate against Zlin on Saturday.

The 22-year-old poacher has rediscovered his goalscoring boots after he was heavily criticized by Sparta Prague coach Václav Kotal in the wake of the weekend’s game.

David Hancko broke the deadlock for Sparta Prague in the first half before Tetteh doubles their advantage in the 54th minutes.

David Moberg Karlsson took the game beyond Ostrava from the spot two minutes after the hour mark before Martin Frydek and Adam Hlozek made it a resounding 5-0 win to the host on the 76th and 81st minutes respectively to send Sparta to the semifinals of the Czech Cup.

Tetteh has netted 5 goals and tallied 4 assists for Sparta Prague in the Czech top-flight league.
