Ghanaian striker Godsway Donyoh forced his move to German side Dynamo Dresden even though Danish club Nordsjaelland were reluctant in releasing him, a top club official has revealed.

The 25-year-old asked the Farum-based club to release him to enable him earn regular playing time even though they were not keen on allowing him to leave.

The attacker arrived in the European country on Friday and immediately sealed the transfer after completing medical tests.

Donyoh completed the move to the Dynamo Dresden from Danish side Nordsjaelland as exclusively revealed by Ghanasoccernet.com last week.

He signed a six-month loan deal the Bundesliga II side and will be made permanent in the summer if he impresses.

The striker's deal will be made permanent for a further two years if he impresses at the Dresden-based club after forcing the move in the chase of regular playing time.

"Godsway has been a fantastic acquaintance in Nordsjaelland both on and off the field. He has repeatedly shown both us and his surroundings what he is made of," says Nordsjaelland director of sports Jan Laursen.

"His character matches his talent, and we would have liked to see him stay with us, but Godsway has expressed a strong desire to try German football and pursue this opportunity.

"We will not stand in the way of being a player , which has repeatedly shown great loyalty to our club and organization.

"That's why we wish Godsway all the best in Germany. We hope he finds happiness there, and should our roads cross again, we are ready with open arms in Nordsjaelland."

Donyoh joined Nordsjaelland four years ago and has been an important player at the Farum-based club.

The Ghanaian has played a total of 82 official matches and scored 28 goals for the Tigers.

He goes to the German 2nd Bundesliga, where the traditional club Dynamo Dresden, gets pleasure of using the fast and elegant Ghanaian.
