Ghanaian striker Grejohn Kyei will end the season trophyless after Servette crashed out of the Swiss Cup.
Kyei, born in France, fired blank as Servette were beaten 1-0 by St Gallen in the semi-final on Wednesday night.
The 25-year-old, author of 11 goals in the league, was titular in the attack of Servette.
It was Servette's only chance of ending the season with a trophy after Young Boys walked away with the Swiss Super League.
The final will pit St. Gallen against Lucerne who won 2-1 against Aarau.
Servette will now focus on the league and try to defend its 3rd place, their last hope of qualifying for Europe.
