Ghanaian striker Joel Fameye scores in Rubin Kazan win in Russia

Ghanaian striker Joel Fameye was on target for Rubin Kazan in the Russian First League on Monday.

Fameye scored to inspire Kazan to a 3-0 victory against Kuban, ending three games winless run.

Before the start of the season, the 25-year-old signed as a free agent with Rubin. He has scored four goals in five league games.

Previously, he played in Belarus for Belshina and Dynamo Brest, and in Russia he played for Orenburg for three years.

Fameye's agreement with the Kazan team was signed until 2025.

He has scored two goals in five appearances for the senior national team, Black Stars since his debut in 2015.
