Ghanaian striker Joseph Paintsil scores to power Ankaragucu to victory in Turkey

Ghanaian striker Joseph Paintsil scored for the second Turkish Super Lig game running as MKE Ankaragucu claimed a 2-0 victory over Hatayspor on Tuesday.

Paintsil netted the second goal of the match to seal the three points for Ankaragucu. They had taken the lead through Zvonimir Sarlija in the 69th minute.

The former Tema Youth player, who was introduced n the second half, scored with few minutes to end proceedings.

Paintsil beat his marker, Ghanaian defender Isaac Sackey, rounded off the goalkeeper and calmly slotted the ball into the net.

This follows his strike against Konyaspor over the weekend. The goal helped Ankaragucu secure a 4-3 victory. 

The two straight wins has ensured that Ankaragucu are no longer at the bottom of the league.

The 22-year-old has scored four goals in eight appearances this season.
