St Gallen drew 2-2 with FC Basel in the Swiss Super League on Sunday, with Ghanaian striker Kwadwo Duah scoring a good goal.
Duah, who is having a fantastic season, put Gallen ahead after 20 minutes. It was his 12th league goal of the season.
However, the visitors responded nine minutes later when Leonidas Stergiou, unfortunately, put the ball in his own net.
In the second period, Jeremy Guillemenot and Liam Millar scored for Gallen and Basel, respectively, as the game ended in a tie.
Gallen are now fifth in the standings following the draw, six points away from qualifying for Europe.
Duah was born in London but moved to Switzerland when he was a child. He is of Ghanaian origin and holds dual citizenship with Ghana and Switzerland.
The Ghana Football Association approached him to play for the Black Stars ahead of the World Cup playoff against Nigeria last month, but he declined.
The former Young Boys player, 25, is interested in playing for Switzerland. He has previously represented them at the U-18, U-19, and U-20 levels.
