Ghanaian striker Kwaku Karikari delivered a standout performance for AC Horsens despite their 3-2 defeat against Odense BK at Nature Energy Park in the Danish 1. Division.
Karikari set up the game’s first equalizer in the 25th minute, finding Sebastian Pingel in the box, who slotted it home to cancel out Luca Kjerrumgaard’s opener for Odense.
Before halftime, Jakob Bonde restored the home side’s lead with a deflected strike, putting OB back on top. Mihajlo Ivancevic extended Odense’s advantage with a powerful header in the 55th minute, seemingly sealing the match.
However, Karikari kept AC Horsens in contention, heading in a well-placed cross from Mikkel Kallesøe just four minutes later to make it 3-2. Despite a spirited effort from "the Yellows," Horsens could not find another equalizer.
With 15 appearances, three goals, and two assists this season, Karikari continues to impress. AC Horsens will look to bounce back on November 24 when they host HB Køge.
