Ghanaian teenage defender Lumor Agbenyenu gave an impressive account of himself in his debut outing for FC Porto's U19 side in their Uefa Youth League as he helped the Portuguese side to post a 2-0 win over Belarusian side BATE Borisov on Wednesday night.

The 18-year-old lasted the entire duration of the game at the Centro de Treinos e Formação Desportiva PortoGaia as Ruben Macedo and Acevedo scored in either halves from the spot as Porto triumph in their Group H tie.

Though Wednesday's game was his debut for Porto in the competition, however it was not his first game for the Porto juniors.

He had played against Leixoes U19 and SC Braga U19, seeing full time action in both games.

The youngster joined FC Porto from Ghanaian lower-tier side UniStar Soccer Academy after having undergone trials at German side Hertha Berlin and failing to win a deal at the club.
