Ghanaian youngster David Accam has described his move to Swedish giants Helsingborg IF as ''a dream come true''.

Accam, 21, sealed a long-term move to Helsingborg on Wednesday from lower-tier side Ostersunds FK in a deal reported to be in the region of 500,000 Euros.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate was courted by AIK Stockholm and Allsvenskan leaders Elfsborg but he chose to join Helsingborg.

"It is a dream come true to sign for the Swedish champions," Accam told GHANAsoccernet.com

"I chose Helsingborg because the club is fantastic and they have some experience players that I can learn a lot from them.

"Also the players and everyone in the club is welcoming and they will make me feel at home."

Accam is expected to debut for Helsingborg in a pre-season friendly against English Premier League side Sunderland on Saturday.
