Ghanaian youngster Cody Gakpo found the back of the net as PSV secured a pre-season friendly win over KFC Uerdingen on Sunday.

The Dutch giants won 3-0 with the Dutch-born attacker opening the scoring with an impressive finish.

The 21-year-old broke the deadlock after 10 minutes. He controlled the ball well before unleashing a vicious shot into the top corner from twenty yards out.

Sam Lammers doubled PSV’s lead, scoring one of his trademark goals, coasting past two defenders and creating some space for himself to beat the German goalkeeper with fifteen minutes remaining.

The striker put the icing on the cake in the closing stages when he was played through by Ledezma.

Gakpo was born in Eindhoven to Ghanaian father and Dutch mother.

He hasn't made any appearance for Dutch national teams and is available to represent Ghana.
