Ghanaian youngster Francis Abu has completed his move to Belgian club Cercle Brugge.

The 21-year-old joins Cercle Brugge from Danish Superliga side Nordsjaelland on a three-year contract.

Francis Abu scored seven goals and registered five assists for Nordsjaelland in the 2021/22 season.

“Abu is a young dynamic midfielder who has shown his potential in various positions during the past seasons in Nordsjaelland. We believe that competition within the squad will raise its level and also give more possibilities and alternatives to the technical staff,” said technical director Carlos Aviña.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate has played a total of 60 games for the Nordsjaelland first team since July 2019.
