Dutch-born Ghanaian youngster Raymond Gyasi has explained to GHANAsoccernet.com he only made changes to clauses in his current contract and did not sign a new one.

Reports in the media claimed the 19-year-old has signed a new contract with his Dutch club AZ Alkmaar to keep him at the club until June 2016.

But the winger has explained he only made changes to clauses in his running contract with the club.

"It's an already existing contract. I didn't sign a new deal. It's a contract that has existed since the start of the season and I only changes some of the clauses to insert more options," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Parts I changed was the match, transfer and financial benefits clauses," he added.

Gyasi, youngster brother of Heracles Almelo winger Edwin Gyasi, was voted AZ Alkmaar's best young player last season and earned a professional contract at the start of the season.
