Ghanaian teenager Jalal Abdullai has solidified his future with Swedish top-flight club IF Elfsborg by signing a four-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until 2028.
The 19-year-old striker, who has quickly become a promising talent in the Allsvenskan, expressed his excitement about continuing his journey with the Boras Arena outfit.
Abdullai acknowledged the challenges he faced adapting in his first year but highlighted the support he received from his coaches and teammates, which has been instrumental in his development.
"The coaching staff is good, and we have a good relationship. My teammates are both very good players and good people who have helped me a lot in my first year," Abdullai said.
With dreams of competing in European tournaments, the young forward is determined to help Elfsborg stay at the top of the Allsvenskan and regularly qualify for European competitions.
Club manager Stefan Andreasson praised Abdulai’s talent and potential, expressing confidence in his future contributions.
Although the former Inter Allies FC man is yet to earn a cap for Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Stars, his continued growth and achievements in Sweden suggest a bright future on both the club and international stages.
