Ghanaian youngster Maxwell Woledzi leaves for Denmark ahead of Superliga return

Budding Ghanaian defender Maxwell Woledzi has left Accra for Denmark to resume preparations ahead of the return of the Superliga.

The 19-year-old has been in Ghana for the Christmas festivities following the break in the Danish topflight.

The FC Nordsjaelland center back is enjoying a breakthrough season after earning promotion to the senior team at the start of the campaign.

”Thank You mother for giving me the opportunity by reflecting, taking things easy, sitting with loved ones, and looking forward,” he posted on Instagram.

Woledzi has made four appearances this season and looks forward to more games as he describes 2021 as a year of hard work.

“Ayikoo 2021. A year of hard work,” he wrote.

The Danish Superliga has been on break since December 21, however, it returns on January 16 2021.

FC Nordsjaelland will face Helsingor on Saturday.
