Ghanaian youngster Prince Obeng Ampem nets twice in HNK Šibenik home victory

Ghanaian young striker Prince Obeng Ampem netted scored his debut goal in the Croatian top-flight as HNK Šibenik beat NK Lokomotiva Zagreb on Friday.

Šibenik were 3-2 winners at home in the fifth round of the 2020/2021 league season over Lokomotiva at the Stadion Šubićevac.

Ampem who is playing in the Croatian top division for the first time broke the games duck with an 11th minute strike.

The visitors struck back to level proceedings through Sherif Kallaku in the 33rd minute.

Deni Juric scored six minutes later to restore the lead for Šibenik.

Lokomotiva levelled again through Sammir in 69th minute of the encounter.

Ampem got his name of the scoresheet again as he netted the match winner six minutes from full-time.

The WAFA Academy graduate has made five appearances in the season so far and has bagged two goals in the process.
