Ghanaian youngster Raymond Frimpong Owusu joins Turkish side Istanbulspor

Ghanaian striker Zori Raymond Frimpong Owusu has joined Turkish first division side Istanbulspor.

The 20-year-old joins the Turkish side as a free agent and has signed a one-year deal with the club.

Frimpong Owusu last played in Ukraine before the Russian invasion saw his contract terminated.

Owusu played for Gold Coast Football Academy and later joined Asokwa Deportivo on laon in Ghana.

Owusu has been playing since March last year, making a total of 20 appearances and scoring four goals.

 After the invasion of the army of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, the Ghanaian was in the training camp of Borussia Dortmund.

After two opening matches of the Turkish championship, Istanbulspor is in 18th place without a single point.
