Ghanaian youngster Richard Duke-Abaidoo joins Steenberg United in South Africa

Ghanaian teenager Richard Duke-Abaidoo has completed a move to South African National Division 1 side Steenberg United FC.

Duke-Abaidoo is joining the South African second-tier club from Ghanaian lower-tier club Soccer Elites on a one-year deal.

Soccer Elites is based in Ekumfi-Atakwa in the Central Region of Ghana.

Duke-Abaidoo has been on trials with Steenberg for about two weeks and has impressed the technical team.

He is hoping to make his mark.

"I am very glad for this move. It is a perfect platform for me to market myself," Duke-Abaidoo told SPORTSworldGhana.com.

"I am hoping to do my best by scoring goals to help the club move up the log." Duke added.

Steenberg are currently lying 14th position on the South African Division One League standings with 13 points after 15 matches.
