Ghanaian youngster Salis Abdul Samed suffers fresh injury at Clermont Foot

Clermont Foot and Ghanaian midfielder Salis Abdul Samed will spend sometime on the sidelines after picking an injury in the French Ligue 2 last weekend.

Samed who was returning from an injury when Clermont hosted Le Havre last Saturday sprained his ankle which could see him sit out of matches for some weeks.

The 21-year old was introduced in the game in the start of second half to replace Jason Berthomier but later on sustained the injury.

Clermont played out a 1-1 draw at the Stade Gabriel Montpied in Clermont-Ferrand against Le Havre.

Le Havre got their noses in front through Jamal Thiare in the 18th minute before Jordan Tell equalised for the hosts in the 72nd minute.

Samed was missed in action on Tuesday when Clermont faced Paris FC in the round 33 of the French second-tier.
