Ghana's 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifying opponents Zambia have sacked their head coach Dario Bonetti.

The Italian was fired on Monday just two days after qualifying the Chipolopolo for the 2012 Nations Cup.

Bonetti succeeded Frenchman Herve Renard in mid-2010.

The Black Stars are scheduled play Zambia in Lusaka on 8 June seven days after playing either Lesotho or Burundi.

Zambia topped Group C with 13 points to pick an automatic qualifying spot for the finals to be co-hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
