Ghana's AFCON opponents Botswana draw in friendly

Botswana coach Stanley Tshosane has insisted he is not reading too much into the Zebras 0-0 draw with Zimbabwe in an Africa Cup of Nations warm-up on Saturday.

The 2012 Africa Cup debutants were held to a goalless draw by Zimbabwe at home in Gaborone.

"I'm not preparing for AFCON with Ghana in mind, that game is not much of a concern for me," Tshosane told MTNFootball.com.

"I was happy with the way the team performed especially in the second half.

"Unfortunately we failed to score a goal."

The friendly was Botswana's final official international warm-up match before they head to Cameroon for their final phase of training camp that starts on January 10 in Douala.

Botswana open their Africa Cup outing on January 24 with a massive Group D clash against four-time champions Ghana in Franceville, Gabon.
