Ghana’s Forson Amankwah to work under former Jurgen Klopp assistant Pep Lijnders at Salzburg

Ghana midfielder, Forson Amankwah is set to work under former Jurgen Klopp assistant, Pep Lijnders, at RB Salzburg.

The young exiting midfielder will hope to play more under pep next season and take his career to the next level.

RB Salzburg's decision to appoint the Dutch coach as their new manager has paved the way for this exciting development.

Lijnders, who has been a long-term assistant to Klopp at Liverpool, will depart from the club alongside the German manager after the final game of the Premier League season.

He has now successfully landed a leadership role as the head coach at RB Salzburg.

Having previously worked with Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool, Lijnders also had a stint at Porto before returning to Liverpool, where he played a pivotal role in the team's remarkable success.

Additionally, Vitor Matos, a former elite development coach at Liverpool, will assume the position of assistant coach under Lijnders at RB Salzburg, further bolstering the coaching staff.
