Ghana winger Jeffrey Schlupp is delighted with Crystal Palace's famous victory against Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles pulled off one of the shocking results of matchday 2 in the 2020/21 campaign following a 3-1 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Andros Townsend put Roy Hodgson's men ahead after just 7 minutes on the clock. The England forward beat De Gea with a precise shot after connecting to Schlupp's fine pass.

The visitors grabbed their second of the game courtesy Wilfred Zaha's 74th minute penalty.

However, the lead was halved on the 80th minute mark through new signing Donny van de Beek but Palace regained their two-goal cushion 5 minutes later through Zaha.

Schlupp, who lasted 75 minutes, jumped on Twitter in the wake of the match to hail the victory.
